So, Jeff (his name is totally fictitious) . . . (maybe not) . . . and I were wrapping up our first official "podcast" today . . . it wasn't necessarily "cool" or "groundbreaking" or "revolutionary", but , we got it done :-)
And we were heading out to lunch and verballing musing over some ideas of other podcasts and I wondered out loud what it would be like to overhear a recorded conversation between God the Son and God the Holy Spirit talking about the 12 disciples. You know, Jesus chose them . . . and then after Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was left to deal with the "mess" that Jesus left behind . . . Can you hear the banter?? :
HS - Ok, J . . . was that the "Best" you could come up with ??? Really??? with all the foreknowledge and sovereign things you could have mustered . . . THEY made up your "dream team" . . .
J - YEP!! . . . (with a twinkle of sarcastic joy in his eye)
HS - Well, I know I'm just supposed to point people to you, and you can rest assured that I'm gonna be telling everyone that these were your choices you know?!!
J - YEP!! . . .(now barely able to hold onto his side a cosmic and epic chuckle)
HS - You're always right!! You always were Papa's favorite!! (said with an even larger twinkle than J's and with an even deeper sarcastic chuckle of joyous expression) . . .
And off into the throne room they go . . . HS barely able to wait to spill the goods on J to Father . . . "You know Papa . . . and it's only going to get worse!!" . . . "I mean, before long He'll have us taking up residence in the most unsightely lives!!" . . .

I'd better stop . . . I can hear the "heresy poe poe" sneaking up on me now . . .
